University Spin off operating in the field of wet nanobiotechnology to offer innovative solutions for immunodiagnostics and drug delivery.
The company develops proprietary know-how for the production of multifunctional nanoassemblies based on biocompatible and biodegradabile components.
Our Mission is to develop and commercialize alone and in partnerships:
- reagents, kits and innovative solutions for high sensitivity immune-detection of compounds at very low concentration.
- nanoassembled systems for site directed parenteral drug delivery.
The A.N.A.N.A.S. nanoassemblies are composed of biocompatible and biodegradabile compounds only, which self-assemble into chemically and physically defined nanoparticles (60-200 nm ca) that are stable in acqueous buffers. Secondary to a second self-assembly process the nanoparticles can be loaded with a high copy number of other compounds selected from a virtually infinite pool of chemical-biochemical functions, thus allowing a wide variety of practical applications.
The A.N.A.N.A.S. team is composed of four scientists of the Univeristy of Padova: Margherita Morpurgo, Deborah Teoli, Mauro Pignatto and Nicola Realdon.
